Rockford, IL- Mark your calender for Saturday
March 27th. The libertarian Party of Chicago is
sponsoring The Rally for Citizen Safety at 11 AM in Daley
Plaza in downtown Chicago.
Matt Beauchamp, the chairman of the Libertarian Party of Chicago, described the event's goals:
"We will show our elected officials that we:
1. Will not tolerate a lawsuit against gun
manufacturers and distributers, as they are peddling a
legal product and cannot be held responsible for their
customer's actions.
2. Think it is senseless to disarm law-abiding
citizens in the murder capitol of the United
States.
3. Desire a conceal-carry law, Now!"
If we can pack Daley Plaza, we will send a clear
message to our elected officials that it's time to give
citizens back their right to defend themselves.
Beauchamp added, "we will not get our right to
self-defense back by letting others set the
agenda."
